T8X collects no personal data. Every workspace, every text entry, and every preference you set lives exclusively in your browser's local storage on your own device. T8X operates on a database-free, account-free architecture. Workspace content stays in your browser's local storage and travels nowhere else.
Eight Texts (T8X) respects your intellectual properties, copyrights and privacy. We have designed our information architecture to respect your privacy structurally and completely.
What T8X Stores and Where
All content you type, paste, or load into any T8X workspace is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage. Local storage is a browser-native feature that keeps data on your device, entirely separate from network communication. T8X workspace content, theme preferences, and language settings all reside in your browser's local storage on your own device.
Content stored in one browser stays in that browser. Content in T8X does not appear in another browser, on another device, or in any T8X server system. Clearing your browser's local storage, or using T8X in a private or incognito window, will erase all stored T8X content from that browser.
Server Logs
Web servers record certain technical details as part of standard operation. When your browser requests a page from t8x.net, the web server may log the IP address of the requesting device, the date and time of the request, the URL path requested, the type and version of the browser making the request, and the referring URL where applicable.
Server logs serve standard operational purposes including security monitoring and performance analysis. Server logs contain only technical request data. Workspace content lives entirely in your browser's local storage and never reaches the server.
Third-Party Resources
T8X may load certain resources from third-party providers as part of delivering the T8X interface. Stylesheet frameworks, web fonts, and scripts may be served from external servers. When your browser requests resources from an external server, the external server receives a standard web request that includes your IP address and browser information. T8X selects external resources with care, while acknowledging that users who seek maximum network privacy may wish to configure their browser or use appropriate browser tools to manage external resource loading.
Your Browser and System Environment
T8X's information architecture keeps all workspace content within your browser's local storage, accessible only to you on your own device. At the same time, your browser, operating system, and any applications running on your device operate within their own permissions, independently of T8X. Installed applications, browser extensions, accessibility tools, and system-level software may have visibility into content displayed on your screen.
T8X has no visibility into or influence over what other software on your device can observe. Users handling sensitive content are encouraged to consider their full system environment as part of their overall privacy practice.
Internet Infrastructure
Visiting t8x.net involves standard internet routing. Domain name resolution services, internet service providers, and network infrastructure operators can observe that your device is communicating with t8x.net, as well as the timing and volume of those communications. T8X uses encrypted HTTPS connections, which protect the content of data transfers between your browser and the T8X server. The existence of the connection itself remains visible to internet infrastructure participants, as is standard with all web traffic worldwide. Visiting t8x.net is no different in this regard from visiting any other website on the internet.
Tracking and Analytics
T8X operates entirely without tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or behavioral analytics. User activity in T8X generates records only in your browser's local storage and in server access logs as described above. T8X shares user information with advertising networks and data brokers: none whatsoever.
Changes to T8X Privacy Policy
T8X may update this privacy policy as the service evolves. Continued use of T8X following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Reviewing this privacy policy page periodically helps you stay informed of any changes.
